1st Platoon, B Company, 1st Ranger Battalion is a private, non-commercial Arma 3 milsim project. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Army, the 75th Ranger Regiment, or any real government or military authority. Units, operations, and designations shown here are for role-play only.
Liability & copyright
Liability for content
As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under the general laws, in line with § 7 (1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to look for circumstances that point to illegal activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability is only possible from the moment we know of a specific infringement. When we learn of such an infringement, we remove the content without delay.
Liability for links
Our site links to external websites (for example Discord, YouTube, OpenStreetMap). We have no influence over their content and accept no responsibility for it. The respective provider is always responsible for the linked pages. Illegal content was not apparent at the time of linking. Permanent monitoring is not reasonable without concrete signs of a violation. We remove such links as soon as we learn of an infringement.

Content and works created by the site operator on these pages are subject to German copyright law. Third-party contributions are marked as such. Reproduction, editing, distribution, and any use outside the limits of copyright require the written consent of the respective author or creator.
Trademarks, logos, and names of real military units are used only in the context of role-play and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Information under Art. 13 GDPR
1. Controller
The controller under the GDPR is the provider named above. Contact: contact@bco175.com
2. What we process
This website processes personal data only as far as needed to run the site, publish the roster, and operate the admin area. There is no public member login. We do not use advertising or analytics tools (for example Google Analytics).
3. Hosting and server logs
When you open the site, the host automatically stores information in server log files (for example IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser type). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stability and security). The host deletes log data under its own policy.
4. Roster and campaign content
The public roster and campaign pages can show names, callsigns, and profile images that the unit chooses to publish, plus campaign text and images. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (running the community site). Data stays published while the entry is active.
5. Cookies
Public pages do not require a login cookie. A technically necessary session cookie (PHPSESSID) is used only for the separate admin area. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You can disable cookies in your browser; the admin login will then not work.
6. External services
- Google Fonts: Fonts are loaded from Google servers. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Your IP address may be transmitted. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- YouTube: Embedded videos on the media page are provided by Google/YouTube. Playback can send data to YouTube. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- OpenStreetMap / Leaflet: The campaign map loads map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
- Discord: Links lead to Discord Inc. Their privacy policy applies.

You have the following rights regarding personal data that concerns you:

8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures (for example HTTPS, password hashing, and access limits on the admin area) to protect data against manipulation, loss, or unauthorized access.
